Catherine Jeon
Founder & Executive Director
Catherine is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She is passionate about promoting social change via youth activism and leads various youth organizations geared towards everything from climate advocacy to political awareness. Catherine is also interested in biomedical research and data science, specifically for mental health applications. In her free time, she can be found lost in a book, baking, or listening to Taylor Swift.

Guneet Grewal
Director of Workshops
Guneet is a senior at University High School who invests a lot of her time in advocacy for mental health awareness. Her love for helping people has pushed her to strive for making changes in her community, mainly to uplift the voices of those who need it. She hopes to become a clinical neuropsychologist in the future, continuing to advocate for widespread understanding of mental health. She has been affectionately called a "jack-of-all-trades" by her peers, dabbling in everything from playing bassoon, tutoring, and neurological research to singing a capella outside of school.
Ammar Shaadab
Director of Finance & Outreach
Ammar is a junior at Clarkstown High School North. He is passionate about promoting change regarding the stigmas of mental health and is members of organizations that are geared towards everything from ending dating abuse to promoting more equitable opportunities of education to marginalized groups. Ammar is also interested in biology and chemistry, and how biochemical processes affect our thinking. In his free time, he is playing video games, spending time with his cat, or listening to his favorite artists: SZA and Drake.

Sophie Nguyen
Director of Policy
Sophie is a junior at Rockville High School in the PLTW Biomedical Science program. She is passionate about reducing the opportunity gap in the education system and ensuring that the student voice is represented at the board table. She is interested in exploring the intersection between biomedical research and healthcare equity, especially when considering the social determinants of health. Outside of school, Sophie enjoys drinking iced matcha lattes, hanging out with friends, or going to the library.
Hannah Luke
Director of Press
Hannah is a junior and currently lives in Texas. She adores learning about new topics in a range of fields, but she especially loves science, especially biology and chemistry. Hannah has traveled to multiple countries, particularly those in South East Asia, and hopes to visit more countries in the future. Hannah also loves reading, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends and family.
Swara Munde
Director of Social Media
Swara is a senior at Ryan International School, India for Science and Technology. She is an avid science lover who aims to use her logical and analytical skills for the betterment of the society. Swara is also an environmentalist and an animal lover. She believes that we can work for the betterment of the society and our mother Earth, if only we maintain a happy and peaceful environment. Swara is a happy, carefree soul and is often dancing and singing.
